Appraisal Reviews

According to an announcement by the Federal Reserve, "financial institutions must have an effective, unbiased real estate appraisal and evaluation program," and that appraisers completing reviews have to "have the familiarity and skills to determine compliance with the Federal Reserves appraisal regulations and guidelines." If you're looking for appraisal review services that are objective, qualified, professional and compliant with the Federal Reserve's rules, contact Liberto Appraisal Services, Inc..

If you're in the need of a real estate appraisal review or have questions in reference to an appraisal, call us today.

Appraisal reviews "have to determine whether the appraisal or evaluation is well-suited for the transaction, the uncertainty of the transaction, and whether the manner by which the collateral valuation is collected ensures independence and quality," according to the Federal Reserve. In addition, they "must indicate whether the appraisal or evaluation report is compatible with the letter of engagement, which describes the capacity of the appraisal assignment." Lastly, the Federal Reserve says that "some banks augment periodic reviews with post-funding surveys of appraisal quality for a number of their high-risk or large-value dealings as a control to aid in exposing valuation issues."

In addition to adjusting our work to the regulations and guidelines of our review customers, there are four Fannie Mae forms that are primarily used for review services, and we'll develop an appraisal review on any of them. They include an appraisal "desk" review, a "field" review, a "short" form and a "narrative" form. Here at Liberto Appraisal Services, Inc., we are qualified in every kind of appraisal review, review practice and the requirements of review appraisers.

We are familiar with what the biggest imperfections are, specifically in our real estate market. We also understand what represents a quality appraisal.
